The Meeting Needs Organization is an outreach of God's Oldschool Ministry Church. It got its humble beginning in 2010 by hearing and listening to the voice of God. What started as a Word, “take your time shredding the paperwork,” ultimately became a 6,000 sq. ft. distribution center. Since 2010, the organization has served clients at various senior centers, community churches, sidewalk giveaways, parks, and other venues. Over 10,000 clients have been served throughout the city of Detroit and other cities such as Lansing, Pontiac, Inkster and Flint. The Meeting Needs Organization remains committed to its mission of serving those in need, and inspiring others to do the same.
Thanks to its numerous partnerships and referrals from other organizations, the Meeting Needs Organization has been able to expand its outreach efforts and continue to serve those in need. The MNO's reach has even extended to Africa, providing clothes and school supplies to children without most resources. The success of this organization is a true testament to the power of community and the strength of a dedicated group of individuals working towards a common goal.
